Summer Olympics, Beijing 2008.
The Nike 100 exhibition – designed and produced by 2x4 – opened prior to the Olympics in Beijing’s 798 art district. It remained open until September 2008. It was an exhibition in two phases: First telling the story of Nike’s “pursuit of lightness” which spans four decades; and secondly, showing their newly developed technologies and materials. I created the design and graphics for the “Weight Room” which was one circular room out of many that together created the Nike 100 exhibition.
